12/31/2023 0 Comments Simmiland guide wiki![]() ![]() useful for if you're wanting to answer all wishes creating a mountain next to a desert will give you the opportunity to save on quake cards as any desert tile has a chance to turn into an oil tile when a quake is played, place this right and you get a small amount of both volcano and oil tiles without having to use more than 2 quake cards, very helpful since they're semi rare! Volcano's randomly start fires ( random chance per volcano tile) which can drag your nature down very quick if you don't have writing and law researched, however they can be used to generate coal on demand by placing trees nearby (just don't place it too close to a forest you want to keep). I will usually use mountains early game to stack brambles and ore while the humans are too dumb to do things with the ore but don't have a lot to do. The assured way to do this (as pointed out in this guide) is to open the tile tab and make sure that your hydration and heat are over the minimum thresholds and it will convert. if you want larger areas spreading out the areas you place the suns and rain will work too but you'll have swamps thrown in the mix. Place 2 sun cards on a single tile then a rain, this will create jungles every time in a diamond pattern if the space is available. (jungles are better than swamps since you can make snakes on them and their trees produce fruit) I saw some comments on other guides saying people were having trouble making jungles so i thought id add in my method for making them.
